How we started
i started lotsofwalks when i was unhappy working all day and not seeing my pets, guilt was getting the better of me, and i was always rushing to fit their walks in and to be honest sometimes i was so tired (or if it was horrible weather) i’d make excuses to shorten the walk just to be able to sit down ..
Working full time, I always felt that my dogs never really got the exercise they needed and deserved, I was always rushing to make sure they were walked before I left for work, and then again once I had got home.
This left me tired all the time as sometimes I had to walk them at 6.30 a.m! If something came up after work it would always be the dogs’ walk that was vetoed and I’d justify it to myself by knowing they had been out in the morning, but they were bored being kept in all day and needed not only the exercise but some company.
Holidays or weekends away were nigh on impossible to organise as neither of my dogs like to be in kennels, they pine, sulk and refuse to eat! Grooming appointments were also difficult to schedule due to clashes in working timetables and vet appointments at night again meant forgoing walks. I longed for a pet taxi service that would do these runs for me and free up my day! Now that’s a service we can offer to you.
Cats are fairly independent but still need fed, company and cuddled and my cat hate being boarded and would sulk for days when he came home again. We will now either visit your cat (or other small animal), throughout the day if you are on holiday and ensure he has water, food and has some company, or we can even home-sit for you and then you have the security of knowing your property is occupied when you are away, an excellent deterrent to any opportunist thief.(even without pets this can be a handy service.)We can do simple things like bring in post and open and shut curtains, make your home look like someone is in residence whilst you’re away.
